In line with the strategic adjustments and talent development plan of the Group Company, 16 trainees arrived at Shanghai Modern Chemical Vocational College with an "empty-cup" mindset—eager to learn theories and enhance their skills—to participate in a six-month intensive training program for the "Dual-Qualified" Chemical Industry Trainer Development Project.
This is not merely a training program, but a transformative journey for talent. Leveraging the unique strengths of Shanghai Modern Chemical Vocational College, we have meticulously designed a curriculum that integrates theory with hands-on practice. Through this approach, participants will not only enhance their practical teaching skills but also cultivate the professional competencies of "dual-qualified" instructors—laying a solid foundation for building a robust talent pipeline.
thoughtful planning and targeted measures
Through the concerted efforts of senior leadership, the teaching team, and trainees, along with close collaboration with cross-enterprise training bases, the project has made continuous progress, demonstrating the professional competence and spirit of the "dual-qualified" (industry-academia) instructor team.
This program distinguishes itself from traditional formats by not only imparting specialized knowledge and skills but also emphasizing the development of standardized courseware and curriculum content, comprehensively empowering trainers. The entire program spans 758 credit hours
Innovative Application of Theoretical Systems
During the training program, participants underwent intensive instruction delivered by experts and professors from diverse industries and academic institutions. Each specialist, focusing on their respective subject areas, dedicated efforts to enhance trainees' teaching competencies and curriculum development skills, with strong emphasis on practical application.
The program adopted a "lecture-demonstration by experts, group discussions, and trainee practice" instructional model, where theoretical knowledge delivery and hands-on training were seamlessly integrated throughout the process, facilitating peer exchange and continuous improvement.
Hands-on training necessitates the unity of knowing and doing
Shanghai Modern Chemical Vocational College's Cross-Enterprise Training Center has meticulously designed and organized a comprehensive and systematic vocational education platform for trainees. During the training, instructors covered multiple dimensions including safety management, on-site operational standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), troubleshooting, and emergency response.
Service base achievements implementation
The team members have consistently adhered to the guiding principles outlined in the Construction and Operation Guidelines for Chemical Safety Skills Training Bases, with the core objective of establishing and operating the training base. Strictly following the predetermined project timelines, they regularly convene working meetings, actively conduct review and summary sessions, and continuously deepen discussions to optimize and integrate cross-enterprise training base construction plans and operational strategies. These efforts ensure unimpeded progress in overall work and steadily advance the construction of the training base.
The precisely-focused "dual-qualified" teaching curriculum system at Shanghai Modern Chemical Vocational College guides students to exchange ideas, benchmark against German standards, and actively explore localized teaching solutions suitable for training bases. This enables students to gain more intuitive understanding of vocational education environments, as well as the design and implementation of dual-system corporate training at cross-enterprise training centers. By clarifying corporate talent requirements and implementation pathways for dual-system talent cultivation, it helps students comprehend the essence and practical application of the dual-qualified education model.
